I've made a bunch of enhancements to Lift Paypal - none of which are breaking changes, but it now gives a far better out of the box experience as it can generate the button for you and everything, all customizable, with its own little PaypalRules object using FactoryMaker's so you could even override stuff on a per-locale or per-request basis.
Thus far implemented within Lift in Action [pending your reviews, of course ;-) ]
